Cape Town, the capital city of South Africa, is one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

So, what is there to do in this stunning city?

1) Wine Tasting – I am sure everyone has seen the bottles of wine from South Africa at your local liquor store. However, some of South Africa’s best-kept-secrets, are not exported to the Americas, we only get to taste the quaffer wines.  You have to experience this yourself to appreciate the exceptional elegant and bold combination of these award-winning South African wines and the unforgettable scenery of the winelands they hail from. There are many wineland regions, the most famous of which are Constantia, Elgin,  Franschhoek, Paarl, Robertson, Stellenbosch, Swartland, Walker Bay and Worcester.

2) White Shark Cage Diving – This is exactly what it sounds like, a high-intensity cage diving experience with Great White’s surrounding you.

3) Table Mountain – You can either hike or take a cable car to the summit of this 3,000 ft. mountain. Named for its resemblance of a table (and tablecloth when it is cloud covered) this iconic image of Cape Town can been seen from almost anywhere in the city.

4) Cape Point – Cape Point is one of the most southern points of Africa, and is among the greatest landmarks in the world. As the legend states, this is where two oceans meet, the cold icy waters of the Atlantic ocean meet the calm currents of the Indian ocean. The pinnacle of Cape Point is within Cape Point Nature Reserve, perhaps the most scenically spectacular park in South Africa.

5) Victoria and Alfred Waterfront – Also known as the V & A Waterfront, this is South Africa’s shopping Mecca! It is famous for its upscale shopping (such as Versace and Prada), fine dining (Harry’s Pancakes and Balduccis’) and attractions (Two Oceans Aquarium).  This beautiful harbour front district has as many tourists as the Kruger National Park!

6) Simon’s Town Penguin Colony –  It is amazing not to see snow around these cute creatures! The African penguins, now regarded as an endangered species, are very much at home in their natural South African habitat on the beach of Simon’s Town.

7) Cape Town Stadium – This stadium was originally called the Green Point Stadium, but for the FIFA 2010 World Cup, it was torn down and re-built larger. Cape Town Stadium seats 64,100 people and was recently the venue for the U2 concert!
These are some of the adventures offered in our Cape Town Experience. For more information or a price quote on this 8 day / 7 night dream vacation, contact Go Touch Down Travel and Tours or visit us at http://www.touchcorporation.com/.
